There will be a fundraising for the defeat for Prop 54.

When: Saturday, September 20, 9:00pm

This is THE MASSIVE fundraiser to support efforts to defeat Prop. 54 and efforts getting the APA community to get educated and vote against 54. The statewide campaign has prioritized “mainstream” voters and are not outreaching to the API community on this issue even though we will be severely impacted if 54 passes.

Please come out on Sept. 20th to the hippest, bouncing, partyWHAT?, "we got more beats" fundraiser....

We will be taking over 3 floors and you can get down with:

multiple DJs rocking the house
2 Rooms of Hip Hop, Soul/R&B, Dancehall, Reggae, 80s
16 tracks lasers and visuals
3 bars
a new sound system that, according to Ray the manger, “rocks”.
a dope, outdoor patio to chill out on
plenty of street parking

Time: 9pm-2am
Cover: $10-20 (sliding scale)

Victory is only 27 days away!

Voter contact will be crucial to defeating Prop 54! I am attaching flyers for phone banking that reflect the new dates and contacts to RSVP. Two more nights opened up through APALA - Sep. 12 and 16th. The APALA phone banks will be in downtown LA and in El Monte. The APALC phone bank is... well, at APALC. (See flyers for more details). Please feel free to use these flyers to recruit for the phone banking. (Additional dates will be coming from APALA and KRC).

We have filled up Sept. 10th! Thank you APALC staff and friends! We now need volunteers for 9/12, 9/15, 9/16 and 9/17!
