Scratching Out Serial Number...

In school..i was called into the popo office cuz they found my lost calculator..he gave it back to me..and he hella questioned me..he said that he could arrest me for "scratched out serial number". Is that illegal?..what i would think is that it's my property..my bro bought it and he gave it to me..so whatever we want to do wit it..is what we'll do wit it..i guess the popo sees it a different way?..is it the law to have a serial number show?..cuz he said it was a criminal offense?..he said that i better find out in the next couple of days why it's scratched out..

well..just few days ago he went searching for me again..but this time i was absent to class..so next time he finds me..what should i say?..what should i do?..cuz he said he could arrest me... <_<

Maybe if they suspected you of something else the principal or disciplinary office would bother to take time out to try something as lame ass as that. Doubt the actual police would give it any credence whatsoever, I mean they'd miss donut and coffee hour. Heaven forbid.

I suppose it depends. You can't even sit on a friggin milk crate these days.

the only good the serial number poses, is for factories to keep track of their stock, the company who's name us branded on them to keep track of their stock, and for warrantee purposes.

next time he comes up to you and starts bitching, go toss the calc at his forhead in an attempt to make a nice angular dent to laugh at.
