drinking in class? come on it's not a new low. it's a fucking right when you're in college, sheeeit. from my experience getting a nice buzz during those 4 hour labs makes it go faster. also great in boring ass lectures.

you make it sound like such a bad thing. it's making me feel like a dirty dirty boy for doing it (in it heterosexual way , of course).

I don't drink anymore. Alcohol kills braincells, impairs judgement, and has the potential to initiate compromising situations that can serve as media fodder in the future. Scandal I can do without.
alcohol kills only the slowest and weakest braincells. the fastest ones get away and the strongest ones survive. drinking makes you smarter.

in all honesty, i don't think amie has a grasp of the value of the green stuff we use to barter for goods. i'm not saying she can't learn, but based on some comments she's made, spcifically the laptop one, makes me question her grasp of tuition costs and the fact that you can't complain about them.

are you saying you never once complained about tuition costs, even in jest, kim? ;)
it's not like i'm handed green on a silver platter. i work, too.

Sweet: Darwinian Alchoholism.

Actually, the reality may even be better...I've seen some recent studies that attribute hangover "fogginess" not to death of brain cells but interference with synapses firing or some other cerebro-biological stuff I don't understand.

Suffice to say, they suggest that it's not a permanent thing.

<Phew>

it's not like i'm handed green on a silver platter. i work, too.
you've mentioned having a job before. and i don't mean to insinuate that you have the "mommy, daddy" syndrome when it comes to money. maybe i was just reading too far into some comments that to me, seemed shallow in an understanding of the value of money and how it correlates to life.

maybe i'm just a bitter college student because i haven't had a positive income to enjoy myself all this academic year. :unsure:

as for whether you know the value, i believe you do, but as for now, i don't know if you know the effect of full independence, since you actually aren't there yet (not to insinuate most college students are because that'd be a lie).

i guess i'm trying to say if you're experienced in something, i feel you have more empathy towards those in that situation. bitching about college is as common as high school girls bitching about their bodies, or other girls. so i'm not trying to completely exclude you from the whole "i'm in college and dammit i have no money" complaining, but if you look at exactly how i described it, you DON'T fit the category on either account. :)

so, if i still sound like an ass, i failed to clear this up. pm me, and maybe it'd be easier to explain. :dance:
