Black Sash

Last night I taped an episode of Black Sash and watched it later that night. And like someone posted earlier, the only reason your gonna watch this show is for the boobies. That's the only interesting thing about this series. I kind of hoped that, with Russell Wong in it, it might be another Vanishing Son. Man, was I wrong. This series is nothing more than Kung fu meets 90210 Beverly Hills.

I think Vanishing Son was okay, purely for the fact that Russell Wong's character was the center of the show. With Black Sash, his character has been pushed back to a supporting role. His character is kind of like a younger Mr. Miyagi.

Vanishing Son was one of the few shows on American TV that showed a cast of Asian American actors. A lot of us watched it. It wasn't about whether or not it was good, it was about "Holy Shit, they have Asians on TV interacting with other Asians as main characters."

yes i watched the show too, god that girl was hot. yeah that show has no plot, but eh what do i care, all i see is hot chicks

When did Russell Wong get so old looking?

Even though Russell Wong has a white ex-wife, their daughter looks full Asian. Odd, no?

Why are none of his main students Asian? Are there not troubled Asian teens in the Bay Area?

The high school the students go to is almsot lily white...odd for the bay area, no?

i finally got around to watching an episode of that god-awful show.

russell wong has a nice part in it, but the rest of the people suck at not only the ba qua (which they tried to pull off, and failed) to fight people on the streets, but they suck at acting too.

the chicks are hella hot :drool:

the only compliment i can give the show, is that although they got a bunch of actors and extras to show the ba qua training (which would have been good, if done by experienced martial artists) the way in which they were trained is more or less how they should be trained, so i am guessing that russell wong choreographed that stuff with the concept of "lets see if i can be like my master" type thing.

ba qua 9-ring broadsword training was neat, though they had just plain broadswords with no rings. so they can go to hell and die.

the blonde is too bubbly.

i think the brunette is a sexy beast
