growing up is one of the hardest things to do.
as you grow up and see more of the world,
you realize how crazy it is. you know that the
world's gone crazy when the most famous rapper i
s white, the best golfer is black, france is accusing
someone else of being arrogant, and germany doesn't
want to go to war.

what are some of the crazy stuff you've seen in this world?

I just heard on the local news that three people were murdered at a funeral home. It's a sad story, but I wanted to laugh because of the irony.

I didn't laugh tho. I just thought it was kinda ironic.

anne is on a distinguished road.
I wouldn't consider someone black (multiracial) a measure of the world going crazy...it's progress and it's about fucking time!

hear hear!

Weird world....When some misinformed people in Texas thought the prez of the US was stepping down to run for governor! (They thought W. was his dad :HH: Sad, sad, sad.)....When they actually spent my taxpayer's money to hold a press conference to annouce that they officially changed the menu for freedom fries.

actually, Tiger Woods is genetically more Asian (50%) than Black (25%).

Funny, how everyone thinks of him as Black.

dont you find it interesting how since cost is derived from supply and demand, and since we eat more cows than god, and that leather must be in abundance since all them cows are slaughtered everyday, and that not everyone wants leather, that leather might be cheap?

you'd think. but leather is hella expensive

This article has information on Tiger Wood's ethnicity:

UPI commentary

he is dominantly ASIAN genetically.....

There's 2 Korean and 3(?) Japanese men among the top 100 golfers in the world. K.J. Choi is ranked in the top 25 right now.

Also, there's a contingent of Koreans on the LPGA that are tearing up the circuit. After Sorenstam, Se-ri Pak is the most dominant woman golfer.

anyways, my vote for a crazy thing would be a 7'5" Chinese man being one of the most popular players in the NBA.

that's probably an over-generalisation. how much usable leather can you produce from a cow? what kinds of cows must leather be produced from? and what is the cost of processing leather?

Wow. Talk about over-generalization.

i agree, but i am equating the fact that hundreds of thousands of cows are slaughtered everyday to feed people. next to nothing is wasted when they kill animals, because a) they cost too much to waste anything and B) because why waste when there are uses.

perhaps the not-so-great cowhide is used to make cheap leather.

all i know, is that leather is too expensive at the moment, and i don't think it should be.

well, i don't know about that. nothing is wasted only if the materials being wasted could be turned to make a profit. otherwise it would be pointless for businesses to not just throw those materials away that their current operations do not already use.
