asian guys or white guys?

I don't know. The total kind of doesn't add up to 100%. Does that look right to any of you? Anyway, I voted thumbs way down. I don't exactly like the options though. It's not like I dislike Asian guys. It's just that I prefer white guys more if not a lot more. There should be an option that says "Indifferent" or something. Thumbs way down and Asian guys all the way sound a bit one sided, doesn't it?

I was re-reading the posts in this thread. Angelnympho came from Irvine everybody. No wonder she likes white d00ds. You grow up white, you think you're white, and you like white things. period. cultural immersion.

I grew up white, didn't realize I was Asian till college. There were no other Asians around. Its never too late to change though.

There are no right answers to this question except dating whomever makes you happy.

Okay this is my first post here. A bit of background - I'm 21, female, I'm half filipino and half chinese, born and raised in Australia. In reference to the poll I have been attracted to many different guys. I have liked asian guys, white guys and mixed race guys. It really has alot to do with the guy's personality, open mindedness, intelligence and the way he treats me. In my experience, asian guys hold themselves too high (blame mum i guess?) and expect too much. I have found that asian guys place less effort in maintaining the relationship, are less giving in intimate situations and expect their girlfriend to cater to their interests. I am not saying all asian guys are like this, only those in my experience. Maybe I just lucked out. Also as it has been said, sharing interests is important. Just because I meet an asian guy it doesn't mean that we will be able to communicate or have simmilar life experiences to draw on. :P

its already hard to maintain a relationship between 2 people of different characters and personalities. by bringing a different culuture in the picture makes it even harder to maintain. so me, asians only. in fact i'm very particular about this, i only date chinese guys. :D

Asian guys? What about the Asian women?

They want the advanced degree, the height, the looks, the built, the money, the attention, the designer clothes. I'm sorry, but the Asian women I've dated are alot more high maintenance than the non-Asian women, I've dated. And it's by alot, not even by a little margin. Perhaps blame daddy for buying you those Louis Vuitton, Prada or Gucci kicks in high school for you bringing home that one "A" in math class?

But hey it's all good. if you can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen. Again, this is all from my experience. But I've dated good and bad of every race. But Asian women, by far has been the most taxing emotionally, mentally and financially for me.

If you want the cheddah you gotta be bettah, if you's not, check ya latah. Plain and simple.

And for real what the hell. Why are Asian men always under the mircroscope? Last time I checked I wasn't some kind of science experiment.

If you want to date Asian guys, date em. If you don't, don't date em. Bottomline, I won't lose any sleep cuz you don't date Asian guys. But don't get at me in a negative way because you had a bad experience(s) with us and generalize us as "this way." In other words quit hatin' and cock blockin. Who hasn't had bad experiences?

And yes I'm a little bitter about being constantly scrutinized, psychoanalyzed and criticized for being an Asian male. And I'm sure there are others that feel the same way.

Ditto! I was out with couple friends a few weeks ago and my friend brought along some girl he'd just started dating.
