As a SCAA refugee - I realize that trolls and spam make
open forums obsolete - sigh - only a moderated/managed forum
is sustainable like yellowworld.org is possible. Trolls need to be
banned and spam must be deleted or filtered out.

One telling signal during the old SCAA flamewars
that a reply-posting had hit a sore or vital point
was when responsing post cameback with renew vigor
with curses and threats.

WRT to ModelMinority.com - I think some of the news items
on the home page are a bit old. I didnt find much of the stuff
there of interesting to me for some reason or another.
I like to say I am fond of reading about freebies, events,
and rallies... I joined yellowworld.org forums
based on a recommendation from a friend who still
occassion post here...

Style wise I'd make the ModelMinority text a bit smaller
and the images smaller. Smaller images make for a faster
downloading of the webpage. The webpage maximum
length/width should be 1280 pixels or less and the
most important stuff should be seen before scrolling down
720pixels wide - so when your webpage is first viewed
the most important controls and information show up. I'd
avoid putting more than 3 or 4 colors on any given screen
and avoid putting more than 2 or 3 different font types
on a screen. I like information sorted by topic and
date- e.g. crime, census, politics, art, etc.
