There was a website named bitterasianmen which seems to be no longer in existence.

I was wondering if anyone have its materials saved or archived somewhere because I am currently working on something and I desperately need them. Thanks.

I'm writing a self-help book about confidence and masculinity geared towards Asian American men, it will talk about: Asian American upbringings and values, women in general, dating, feminism, men, attraction, Hollywood, Western society, etc...

The book is called "An Asian Man's Guide To A Larger Penis, And Other Essential Wisdoms Required For Living A Fulfilled Life", and the other half of the book will be attraction and dating tips as well as a journal of my experiences in the dating world.

If you have any inputs or would like to share your experiences and knowledge feel free to contribute.

And I needed informations from that site because I wanted to see other Asian men's point of view on those matters.

Also I am extremely happy that I ran into this site. What a wealth of information.

yea, all my girlfriends tell me they want to date a guy who reads a book called "Guide to a larger penis". its so sexy, not to mention all the the deep respect americans will have for asian men knowing books like these are geared toward them. keep up the good work

A man (regardless of ethnicity) will not find a large penis useful unless he's is working in the porn filmmaking industry.

As far as dating is concern, in car-centric Washington DC - having a car is a must (along with some money). All this stuff about Smart Growth and not owning a car is not feasible for the roving stud-o-matic. Owning real property (e.g. home) is a negative dating factor because it ties a guy down to a particular place. A guy who is dating need to circulate and move around to find the best places to hang out and meet people - that means renting not buying. Since the guy has to initiate the courtship - a guy need to be slightly more aggressive than the gal. Because not every solicitation will get a positive response a guy needs to consider that he might have to make about 5 to 50 solicitation before he get a positive response *in the wild*. At first glimpse, a gal might say that such statistics shows all guys are desperate but guy's get refusal for many different reason - many not related to him but more related to the gal's own personal situation. A guy can get a better initial positive response if he effectively screens his dates and the dating service has a large pool to select from.

For an asian guy - educational attainment, professional and technical certification is not only a good income booster but often it's one of his more reliable good chick magnets. Anything that gets a young dude out of the apartment where he can possibly meet young single girls can be a good chick magnet - e.g. taking courses at the local community college, walking the dog in the park, ball room dancing, ice skating, single socials, non profit fund raisers, an Anime Convention, and even political rallies. Every guy is different so one guy's chick magnet is another guy's chick dud.

I'm going to put my 2 cents in here if y'all don't mind:
I like studious guys that love spending long days lounging in bookstores and eating double chocolate cheesecake in the bookstore cafe, or all day at the public library researching a new whim or fancy that popped into his head while cooking one evening. Those are the guys I like because I am exactly the same way.
If I reject a guy it's because I feel he won't understand that about me or he likes me because I look very exotic to him. I am an outgoing person and I think I have a healthy balance in my life. But if I am "going through something" in my life then a guy who let's me know he is interested in me is a welcome distraction.
I cook a lot of asian foods and non-asian guys I've dated, which would be all the guys I've dated, don't go for that as a meal everyday.. all day! About 95% of my meals are asian, even when I'm at work I buy the prepackaged sushi or sashimi and I always buy enough to share with my half italian half white co-worker who loves it too. My home looks more Asian than African or anything else and my children, instead of them looking black people express that they look just like me. When I tell them I think they look like their dad who is black (which in my opinion they do), people who've never met or seen him tell me No, they look just like you! I get this from men and women alike, so that fosters another sort of solitude from dating. That whole I'm into you being exotic so I'm really into you but if you asked me what your name is I honestly couldn't tell ya sort of thing. So that gives you all a somewhat different impression on why guys get rejected. I am huge on culture and knowing where you come from on both sides. My mom is not a starfish, so I know she didn't make me all by herself. I do embrace my Korean father's heritage more because as I learned more about it I became as passionate in that sense as my mom had been in teaching my black history and trying to educate me on confucious. I grew up on collard greens but I prefer kimchi.

There is no special advice necessary for AMs; success in dating utilizes the same skills/attributes no matter what race/ethnicity.
