Is online shopping safe?

I am in a dilemma right now and need your help friends. I found a very beautiful diamond necklace on an online jewelry shop. It's on discount and I am sure that I will never get such a beautiful necklace at this price again. Also I found an online pharmacy where the price of the products is much cheaper than in the pharmacy in my locality; even when I include the shipping cost, the price is still lower. I know that online shopping has become the trend today but I have never bought anything online. The reason is because I don’t trust the sellers. Is online shopping safe? but I am thinking that if so many people are buying online then why not me? But is there a way that I can find out whether these sites are real ones or just scams? How can I ensure that these sites are legit? Please if you have any information on this matter then do share with me.

I don't get it. Is that your post or did you copy and paste something else? You can find a good guide by going to the Better Business Bureau online and reading what they have to say. That will be more complete than what can be written up in a single post. It should explain phishing, secure sites, and you can also search the database for complaints.

Re: Is online shopping safe?

Ive had good luck with eBay. Bought a couple hundred dollar item a few weeks back. Recently followed up with another hundred dollar purchase. I look for the "buy it now" sales and look for a decent rating of the seller.

The BBB is useless and corrupt.

Re: Is online shopping safe?

I think online shopping is very safe as long as your not stupid and you use your head. I've been shopping for meds from an online pharmacy and I've found them very reliable and trustworthy. Just be safe out there.
