Yul Kwon to Become CNN Correspondant

Finally, an Asian American guy that is actually willing to stand up specifically for Asian American men. It's about damn time. Yul Kwon. My new role model.

Sounds like its just going to be a special series of reports, and then we'll never see him again. If he wanted to stay on the air longer, he could have tried to become a busines or legal reporter which would have made sense given his background.

I figure this is like an extended tryout. He doesn't have a journalism background, so if he does well here and shows good camera presence they may retain him for some other role.

Wonder if he'll be as successful as Allison Tom, who was a CNN correspondent for a while in the early 2000's.
Talk about a personable person. Whenever she came back into town, she always said hi. Wonder if that fame will go to Yul's head.
