Chinese girl tries to intimate white girl

We get a lot of news about Asians getting picked on but this one takes the cake.

My co-worker is a white female, very upfront and outspoken. Has all the discipline of a Marine with her kids and work.

Anyway, she related to me an incident that happened in Richmond, the suburb of Vancouver which gives us the disrespectful image of "hongcouver" due to its high proportion of Chinese.

Her daughter, age 12, is in lineup at the service counter at one of the malls there.

Just as it is her turn, a Chinese girl cuts in. Her daughter asks the girl to get to the end of the lineup since it is her turn.

The Chinese girl threatens her with gang retaliation.

OMG WTF? My coworker then intervenes before things get out of hand, and the Chinese girl gets in the back of the line.

I think some Chinese girls are just spoiled by the rights and freedoms her community worked hard for them to have in Richmond.

But not all Chinese are bad. You just have to know how to present yourself and be true to your word.

However, being rude and making threats just doesn't cut it anymore.

Gangsta wannabes just make it bad for us law-abiding Asians.

Eh, I doubt the girl that cut in line is as bad a representation of an Asian American/Canadian as you might be making her out to be. It's probably more to do with her age than her upbringing as a Chinese girl in Vancouver.

Let's just say, relations w/ the growing Asian communities (especially Chinese) are strained.

I'm not saying anyone's full of shit....
But exaggerated stories of 13-year-old girl Triads taking over the Mall are commonplace.

One Richmond girl ran away from home.

A Vancouver security guard found her and violated the unwritten code of honour by giving an interview about it.

He pretty much cinched become a cop by giving the interview.

The article really made him look good.
