custom avatars

when can u put up ur own custom avatar instead of using the ones that are given by the site? i tried to change it but it didn't give me the option to put up my own custom avatar.

I think avatar info should be a sticky from now on.

Once you have enough posts locate your user control panel in the upper left corner. You should see in the list of options to your left (once in the control panel) one to upload or change your avatar.

Follow the directions it gives you.

I'm new here and have read the above posts but even though I have 10 posts I still don't see the custom avatar option. How much is required? ^_^ i won't go around posting for the sake of gaining post counts. I would like to know when to expect myself to be eligible for the option to be used though. =) I wanna personalise my avatar and make it more "me".

Yes, you should have 10 post first before you can change your avatar. :)
