LOL. sure. in a country that practically defines bureaucracy and internal intelligence gathering, no details are known about an incident that involved killing citizens. i mean, imagine the paperwork involved for the paramilitary force after the police action.

Of course, the authorities of the angelic US government would never unjustly kill any innocent citizens ...

Was just expecting some people to later post comments about how great it is to be in the progressive USA, and not in backwards place like China ...

Yes, the Western media has never been wrong is circumstances that potentially make Western authority figures look bad. Especially in live news stories. Western authority figures have never lied to cover their asses or further their power. Western authority figures have never overreacted to males that look a little less than white European. What you have said already contradicts what eyewitnesses have said, it's nice you are judging people guilty because it's easier for your conscious.

Well, instead of criticizing the western media or the western governments
which have nothing to do with this particular barbaric act of the Chinese
government, why don't you put the blame where it belongs? The
Chinese government fucked up really badly this time, the corrupted
local officials put their own interests above the lives of ordinary people
and innocent people died. I hope some CCP heads will roll for this mess
they've created.

Re: Another Tiananmen Square

This isn't very important, yes it is true that business and governemnt officials took advantage of their power to build a coal plant illegally just to make money at the cost of the farmers, but sadly they'll probably get away with this, but not because the CCP tolerates them, but because there are bigger and more urgent problems facing the nation e.g. corrupt executives in major state owned companies, corrupt bank owners embezzling money, etc, that sort of thing, things that affect the nation as a whole rather than just one farming village.

Actually, I think this is extremly important and it concerns the
fundmental human rights of the Chinese people. Make no mistakes,
the criminals who committed the murders are CCP members and they
did it because they knew they could get away with it. I don't normally
criticize China based on western countries' standard of human rights,
but this time, the CCP has violated the most basic human rights of
its own citizens: the right to live and own private properties. As far
as a government is concerned, there can be no bigger or more
important tasks than protecting the lives and properties of its
citizens. In this disgusting inccident, the CCP has first deliberately
and maliciously robbed its citizens of their livelihoods, then used deadly
force to quiet the victims. This is the most evil thing a government can
do to the people it's supposed to serve. It clearly shows that the CCP
has a total disregard of the lives of the ordinary Chinese people.

It is because of the fact that the CCP chooses to focus its attention on bigger corruptiuon problems prove it does care about the ordinary people, this problem is a tragedy, but it only affects the inhabitants of this one village, corruption in major corporations and banks affect the nation as a whole.

That's a poor excuse. More than 10 people have died, isn't this big
enough? There is a deep rooted and extremly wide-spread culture of
corruption in CCP and there is no magic bullet to solve this problem, the
only solution is to publicly, swiftly and severely punish every single
official involved in every single case of corruption. You cannot just wait
around for the "big fish" to be caught while the numerous "small fish"
are doing far more damage to the society.

Actually, we've seen that the CCP is usually willing to only crack down on low level officials, to serve as convenient scapegoats instead of cleaning out the corruption at the top.

No, no it's not, not in a nation of 1.3 billion people and when these sorts of problems affect the financial welfare of all people and the economy, the 'big fish' do a great deal more damage to society at large than the 'small fish', especially those in the banks and major corporations, especially now that the economy is at such an important part of development.
