Position: Development Director
The Asian Pacific American Dispute Resolution Center (APADRC) is looking for an experienced development director who can handle the daily tasks of writing grants, coordinating special events, and handling public relations. This individual should have at least 3 years of experience writing government, corporate, and foundation grants. They should also have experience coordinating fundraising dinners. This position requires excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
APADRC was started in 1989 to provide conflict resolution and mediation services to low-income, monolingual residents of Los Angeles County. Services are provided to the community and schools. APADRC also provides training in cross-cultural conflict resolution.
A bachelors degree is required. Salary is commensurate with experience but will be in the range of $35,000 to $40,000. Last day to apply is December 30, 2005. Position will start on February 1, 2006.
