Harry potter and the Goblets of Fire

I searched for a thread on this, but there was none...

I watched this movie, and I loved it! I think all the child actors have grown up, and they really put a lot of emotions into this one. The movie was sooooo long, but it was great. The ending was really sad too. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone who wants to watch the movie.

Anyone else seen it?

I'd like Giblets of Fire.

For anyone willing to round up the various Harry Potter threads and link them for merging I'll gladly give karma.

There was more than one goblet? I did not know this. Cho had quite the scottish brogue, didn't she? Even more so than that little bastard Seamus.

I thought Voldemort's resurrection was HOT shit, and Ralph Fiennes was AWESOME as the V man, very twisted and perverted.

Re: Harry potter and the Goblets of Fire

I really want to see this, but I'm thinking of doing a marathon night (curtesy of Netflix) of the first 3 movies before seeing the newest one. Looks like a great movie, and is it me, or is Hermione growing up to be some hottie?

Re: Harry potter and the Goblets of Fire

i thought the movie was good but not great. i haven't read the book, but i'm betting it's pretty faithful b/c it seemed like the movie was forcing itself to move from one plotpoint to another w/ no time to pause and reflect on what had happened. not until the end when hermione weakly says that everything will be different from now on.

but it kept my attention for 2.5 hrs anyways so i can't say it wasn't entertaining. and cho... she's more attractive in the movie than in the pics we've seen of her previously. i didn't really know about the indian girls before, but they were pretty cute too.

SPOILER:
btw, don't u guys think that voldemort was pretty impressive w/ that missing nose? i couldn't stop thinking how weird it was even tho it's prolly a cheap trick.

Re: Harry potter and the Goblets of Fire

Got just back, really enjoyed. It was pretty cute watching Harry's attempt at asking Cho out and then later realising the Indian girls liked him. I overheard an Asian girl in the audience comment, "Harry like Asians." Giggle, giggle, giggle.

Re: Harry potter and the Goblets of Fire

saw the bootleg. I'm not really a fan of the potter books, and to me they're kiddie versions of lord of the rings. i prefer tolkien legend to rowling's fairy tale.
