you're all free to fill it out :D though it'd be nice if you're Japanese American since the questions are quite specific. thanks!!!! 1) how would you answer this question: what are you? a) Japanese b) American c) Japanese - American d) American - Japanese 2) what do you identify being more of? a) Japanese b) American c) Neither 3) if you choose a) or b), why do you feel you identify with your answer? (pick all that apply) a) culture/heritage b) friends c)language d) holidays/food e) community 4) what do you want to identify being more of? a) Japanese b) American c) Neither 5) if you choose c), do you feel that: a) you are an outsider; you don't belong b) a sense of cultural clash c) not knowing for certain where your home is d) identity was never something you struggled with 6) which culture do you feel you adapted first? a) Japanese b) American 7) do you feel that adpating the second culture was hard? a) yes b) no 8) if yes, what made it hard? if no, what made it easy? if there's any additional comments you'd like to post, please do! thanks for filling this out! |
