Site tools not working?

Greetings from a CBC - that's Canuckistan.... ;)
Just wondering how to use Search/Archives/etc. as clicking on these Site Tools on homepage (via leftside column or right upper links) results in nada or error message....?
(B/c if the subjects I'm wondering about already exist, I'm perfectly happy to read archived threads. Otherwise perhaps will register to probe this great forum's thoughts....)
