Four Brothers
John Singleton has been waning as of late, but I do want to see this one. Four adopted brothers avenging dear old Mom's death...now that's a guy movie right there.

Yes. Let's have yet another black and white buddy film to give the illusion that the rift between blacks and whites is nonexistent. I wonder if the villain in this movie will be an Asian guy.
Tyrese and Singleton were pretty good in Baby Boy and both have good potential but these just killed it for me.

I only see two brothers in that picture. I know, racially-blind casting and all, but if the movie calls for brothers, then let's see some brothers in the role.

But seriously, this is one of those movies that's trying to reach out past simply black audiences to suburban white kids that like to think they can be hardcore gangster and from the ghetto (hence Mark Wahlberg and his friend), without any of the actual hardships of the ghetto of course. |

Well, he does beat up a lot of black guys and uses the word nigga constantly in this flick.
