I just got a new insurance provider with my new job and I have to say that it absolutely stinks. The co-pays are extremely expensive...much worse than when I was under my parent's plan. I wish my company would have a better negotiation with the insurance provider to lower the co-pays, because each company pays a different rate based on how much bargaining power. Sheesh..

dude, i was with kaiser, and i had to pay $25 just to see the ophthalmologist, who sent me home with nothing but some lousy advice. i paid another $25 to come back when the lousy advice didn't work. sheesh!

Kaiser Permanente. and i have copays too. they suck.
the best plan i had was when i was under my dad's PPO when i was in school. private doctor's office, no copays, no referrals needed to see specialists, and made emergency visits to ucla med when necessary. |

I have something through school and I can use the clinic there anytime. I also buy some major medical just in case something really bad happens.
