Phone Banking Party - South Asians for Kerry

Dear Family and Friends:

I am hosting a Phone Banking Party on behalf of South Asians for Kerry (www.southasiansforkerry.com) this Saturday, October 30, 2004 from 12:00PM - 5:00PM in the Los Angeles area (specifically Westwood).

The purpose of the Phone Banking is to contact South Asian voters in two of the most hotly contested states: Ohio and Florida.

Rather than sitting by and merely talking politics or criticizing the economy or war, now is your chance to make a difference. I sincerely hope that you will be present to take advantage of this opportunity to actively support the Kerry campaign.


The press will be on hand to cover the event.


Please RSVP with me by this Friday to inform me whether you will come and how many people you will be bringing. Please also forward this email to family and friends who have a genuine interest in the outcome of the elections and are willing to volunteer their time.

There is a moveon.org Leave No Voter Behind phonebanking and neighborhood door-to-dooring going on if you check out www.moveon.org. It's been proven that one-on-one and face-to-face is the most effective method to getting in this case likely Kerry voters to get off their couch and vote when they otherwise wouldn't have and there are tons of people like this. There is a Final-72-Hour get out the vote going on right now and I may go today or tomorrow.
