how do you know when you're in love? some people say that it is the same as when you know that you've 'come'. you just know. so...if you've never <i>known</I>, then that means you've never been in love? and what does it mean 'to know'? how certain do you have to be?

I was in numb and shock after our first date. I sat and stared at the same patch of wall for eight hours thinking nothing and whoah at the same time. For me that was what love felt like, but I imagine for someone like Keanu Reeves it's just another normal day.

And no, I don't think anyone can tell you. I also believe it's not the same type of romantic love for everyone, and it evolves. At some point you reconcile the person you love with the idea of family.

Umm... I don't know. You just know, I guess. You can be doing something totally ordinary... laying in bed, watching tv... And suddenly you look at the person and it like totally hits you: "Wow. This is perfect."

I've always fooled myself into believing that love was nothing more than a neurological chemical reaction. (It probably is in reality.) But I was always able to control my feelings as a younin' and this prevented me from getting close to anyone.

So, after a self-imposed abstinence of about two years, I met my little wifey on-line. (We boned on the first date - I knew you wanted to know that.) I think it was love at first site, and fortunately I realized this before I tossed her away like the rest.
