Do You Write Fiction?

What topics do you tend to write?

Do you prefer to type it or write it?

Do you share what you write or hide it?

Do you make notes and brainstorm before you write?

how do you find inspiration? i hit writers blocks where i don't have any material to draw from. i usually only write when i get pissed, angry, hurt, lost. you know, bleeding heart kind of feelings.

Usually something happens and then I get the urge to write.

Oddly, while it helps many people, brainstorming what to write ruins it. I get stuck.

i rarely ever brainstorm, unless i want it to be a story with a point.

you're right, brainstorming does ruin it. haha. :D

I took a writing class that was labeled: fiction, but most of it ended up being more real.

I tend to do a little bit of both. It depends on my mood. For class, it has to be typed.

The thing about writing workshops is that you're forced to share. It's hard for me to read what I write out loud though...yet I find it more disconcerting to have my work read aloud by my peer critique group.

I can't make notes when I write...I usually hit this major wall because I over think it. I need to just let the words come out.

i usually write fiction based on what i experience. so, it might be a bit dramatized, but it's all real. :) yeah, let it flow.

I write fiction, but it tends to be science fiction/ fantasy type. I prefer to write it out, typing distracts me too much. It flows better when writing it out, for me anyways.

I used to. More into poetry/songs but not so much anymore and a few short stories here and there. One was a story similar to my own life.

As do I. On a more frequent basis, my writing consists of stylized journaling. It seems I never have time to indulge in writing my nerdy D&D type fiction.
