i wouldn't say that i'm "into" cars in the sense that i spend a crapload of money on mine to make it look nice. i don't always think that's necessary. all for what? a bunch of retards at pepperdine that can't park to scratch it up or some moron on the road to sideswipe me or crash into me and me have to fork out money to fix it.. blah!

i'm more practical in that sense. i have a white 1989 honda civic. i just tinted the windows, which was by far the best investment ever. it's so much cooler in my car when the sun (like today) is beating down. but other than that, i take care of my car but don't spend the money to deck it out.

i don't do my own engine work persay, but i definitely think i know a bit more than the average girl. i check my oil, fill up fluids, know when mechanics are bullshitting me, just replaced my powersteering belt, know all about cv boots and all that darn good stuff! i'm glad that i picked this stuff up though, because i always love making people that trying to pull shit over my eyes cause i'm a girl feel stupid. :D

I know a couple of girls who do "some" of the engine work. They of course have their bfs do some of the harder stuff, but then again they're under the car more often. One of them drives a GTO twin turbo. Very cool.
