Well with all the stink surrounding the lesbian student that got her prom cancelled because she wanted to bring her female date, it turns out that the parents of the other students planned a secret prom for themselves and sent her to a "fake" prom. Holy shit, that's soooooooooooooooo mean.

The adults who do this are Deep South, you know, like the people who didn't fight with France over Louisiana but paid them a whack of cash.

Tho Mississipi is not formerly French. it does have the largest population of white people most of whom are descendants of poor people England jailed just for being poor.

So the reason for homophobia in Deep South has to be the same reason English was forced on Celts, and is forced on blacks, Asians and other immigrants who can't speak English.

It's also related to the fact that they don't speak midwest English in the Deep South.

That Deep South drawl is a Southern English accent taken to ridiculous extremes.
