Here's your chance to sign up now for CreateNow, a project of The Asian American Writers' Workshop.

CreateNow is a free writing workshop for teenagers. Apply now and you can learn how to use creative writing as a tool to express yourself and explore issues of community and identity. You will get to meet prominent Asian American artist mentors, hang out with other young people who love writing, and present a public performance of your writing in the Workshop loft space.

Please pass this message on to any high-school student who might be interested in creative writing and Asian American literature.

- CreateNow starts on October 25, 2003 and ends on January 17, 2004. (See application for specific dates.)
- All workshops take place on Saturdays, from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
- Sessions will meet at the Workshop, located in Midtown Manhattan, New York City
- Deadline for applications is October 17, 2003. (Your application must be in our office by this date, this is not a postmarked date!)
