Are teenagers dressing sluttier these days?

I'm not even trying to be funny, man. I went to the mall earlier to get a couple shirts for work, and Saturday is basically high schooler day at malls across the country. Some of these teenage females were wearing things that were basically..... Stuff that, if I had a daughter that was wearing it, would not allow her out of the house, or in the public eye, period. It's not a shocking thing to me, but at 29, I know the girls during my stint in high school dressed similar, but nowadays I'm older, and it seems like it's gone up a couple notches. It's just funny because they're wearing shit that few legal women could pull off.

For the most part, I don't go to the malls (or watch TV) nowadays. For my work shirts, I have been getting hand-me-downs from my former classmates that have crossed from the tech side to the business side.

I'm not surprised, seeing as girls hit puberty earlier and earlier. Doesn't help to see their "role models" Britney et al do what they do....

Stop being such a prude :). I remember girls back in middle school wearing very "nasty" outfits. One girl basically wore lacy panty shorts to school. It looked exactly like something you would buy out of Victoria's secret. Of course this was in the south where teenage pregnancies were a common occurrence too..

If you look at human civilization though there's actually nothing "biologically" strange with young females attracting attention. It's only the last few hundred years that most developed nations have managed to integrate the concept of "higher morals" into our laws regarding intercourse.

I was talking to this coworker today who was telling me about some of the girls in his school back in his day.

He claims they'd spread their legs and shit in class for a little looksy under the dress. What's that called, "Up skrat?"

Some times, it's not the clothes, but the actions. Dressing all hoochie-wannabe might be different than acting all hoochie.

yes. back in the day (my day), we shopped at miller's outpost, banana republic, the gap, eddie bauer - those stores dressed my entire school. nowadays, teenage girls have abercrombie - much skimpier styles than the clothes sold at the stores i named, american eagle - a cheaper form of abercrombie, forever 21, etc.
