Oh please, these attempts from the right to feign to see no difference between The New York Times and The Morning Star are getting really tiresome. Painting the New York Times as a left-wing equivalent to Coulter may get you cheers from the dittohead crowd, but you'll have to learn to do without if you want to join the grown-up wing of the Republican party.

They say, 'Oh, there's a billion of them.' [...] I said, 'So, kill 100 million of them, then there'd be 900 million of them.'" we're assured that they're either atypical or joking. Meanwhile, people like Ward Churchill, whom nobody has ever heard of before, or Noam Chomsky with his low-circulation rag Z, are trotted out as typifying American liberalism. Until you stop trying to pretend nuts like these guys are the left-wing equivalent of mainstream conservatives like Rush Limbaugh I doubt anyone's going to take you very seriously here.

I'd say they do it in a different way. GI boom boom guys (I love that) are overt like "I love you long time" type crap, whereas liberal guys are creepy and covert, hiding behind a curtain of "appreciation of culture". Both are despicable though.

This YouTube clip is pretty funny. MM was subbing in The Factor, when she was grilling some representative for The New Black Panther about the Duke Lacrosse allegations. The term 'political prostitute' just has a sweet sound to it like 'nattering nabobs of negativity'.

Her interviewee/opponent, Malik Zulu Shabazz is a rabid black nationalist. (Or at least poses as one.)

His name sounded familiar to me. I seem to recall an incident involving his trying to boycott a DC takeout owned by an Asian.

When I did an internet search, his profile popped up and mentioned another incident which I didn't recall:

In 2000, Shabazz, now both the Panthers' National Spokesman and National Minister of Justice, opened a chapter in Washington, D.C., that would become the group's headquarters. Soon after, he introduced his chapter to the D.C. community by organizing a boycott of a local Korean-American owned store after a dispute between the store owner and a black teenage girl led to a fight, which was caught on video tape. The NBPP organized a week of protests on the sidewalk in front of the store, and protestors, borrowing the language of anti-Semitic slander, chanted "death to the Bloodsucker." On November 30, 2000, a pipe bomb was thrown into the store, causing severe damage. Painted across the outside wall were racial epithets and the words, "Burn them down, Shut them down, Black Power." Shabazz said his group had nothing to do with the attack.

I once watched her youtube video.

For a brief moment I thought it was another leftist parody of a neocon Asian right-wing pundit.

Her article on Japanese-American prison camps pissed me off. She forgets that not all the Japanese military which occupied the Philippines in the late 30s were fanatical Shinto far-right militants. A lot of liberal university graduates were used by the Japanese military to expand the Co-Prosperity Sphere, and they help teach Japanese to the Filipinos, improved farming methods, and perform important foreign aid i.e. organized rice farming. None of them killed any Filipinos. That was more the responsibility of the secret police and the military.

I'm pointing this out because Malkin is under the delusion that Japanese-Americans were collaborators with the military gov't of Japan. This is untrue. In Japan, the citizens collaborated with the gov't because the alternative would lead to imprisonment or death. Various pacific religious organizations had their leaders imprisoned.

A similar political situation is happening in the free world today. If you publicly oppose war, you are a political dissenter, and the US government considers that a traitorous act. This is happening everywhere in the free world, and it's been going on since 1997, possibly earlier.

My guess is, Malkin is a patriot, so she probably considers political dissent traitorous too.
