An excellent question SunKuWong!!! In this particular case the symbol is used to represent a character in an upcoming film. It is based on a comic book character who represents death incarnate who punishes the wicked and avenges the righteous.

That is correct. She is 25% English on her mother's side. In fact when you see her mother in pictures posing with Cecilia, she looks far more English then Chinese.

No kasia, the poster with Cecilia wearing the number 4 or the word Shi on the bandana, is simply a movie poster. The character in the film that Cecilia would have played represented death.

Cecilia is doing well. She has just recently married Nicholas Tse and is rumored to be pregnant. Her career will be on hold for a little while if that proves to be the case.

My alternate choice for that Shi role would be Jennifer Tapang.
