Sensitive teeth

for the past few days,

my molars are *throb*throb*throb*

the kind of pain one gets when a cavity has calmly splitted into your enamel and is now making its way down into your root. i checked for cavities, or bleeding gums, but i can't spot anything unusual.

whenever i bite into any food, hot or cold, or even normal, there's a sharp pain that travels down into my nerves, in nearly all of my molars. unlike a sensitive tooth that acts up whenever you bite into a cold ice-cream, this pain is very persistent and doesn't go away.

i'm thinking of some possibilities ;-;
a) brushing teeth too hard damaged the enamel
b) cankersore has spread its infection!
c) my teeth are being poopoo heads because i'm fasting (and don't eat anything during the day)
d) i filled a few cavities up in my molars months ago; but i wonder if it could be related...

ow ow ow. i wonder if it's serious?

Re: Sensitive teeth

I'm sorry to hear that Robotic (WHAT'D YOU DO WITH KNUCKLES???)

Neways I think sensitive teeth (or is it tooth?).. maybe teeth. I think sensitive teeth can be related to genes.

Me for example... mum has bad teeth (sorry mum) although she takes excellent care of them... my dad has excellent teeth and takes excellent care of them...Me. I think I'm related to my mum's side... my brother.. my dad's.

Kinda sucks (no offence mum)... hmm... have you used Listerine? or how bout Sensodyne? The tv ads tells that Sensodyne is 'specially' for sensitive teeth, and that women can eat 'good' ice-cream again... she says 'i can't carry on life without ice cream' lol, or something like that.

Try the dentist otherwise.. they can be the best help. Remember, if under 18, it's FREE ...

Re: Sensitive teeth

skip the sensodyne, head for the dentist. if it's that painful, something's wrong.

hehehe i now remember my first dentist.
his face was young and lively, but his hair were a mixture of white and grey.
he looked just like professor weato (on my cereal box)!
while inspecting my teeth he said, "poisoning them with coke and chocolates aye??" with the blisterist horrific grin escaping his lips.

You make him sound like a Charles Dickens villain.

See a dentist.

Something I found out recently is that nerves for teeth are not too specific as to a particular tooth or even a particular region of the jaw. I had a horrible toothache on a bottom molar. Turns out my cavity was on a top inscisor.
