Martial Arts Instructors

How do ya'all feel about martial arts instructors who aren't asian.
I dont mean the americanized yuppie styles but schools that try to be authentic and stuff along those lines. For some reason I feel a little bit weird about it even though Im sure they are just as qualified as any asian master probably. Just feels... more authentic if the teacher is asian as they usually have a longer lineage to the art..
any comments?

edit: i found a way to show you kind of the weirdness of what I mean...
look at these pics... They are probably very skilled and could kick my ass... but still... its just.. weird. to me anyway. This is in no way an attack on their qualification as i dont have the knowledge in that area. Its probably different from person to person. Im not trying to be racist or anything. god.. lol Im so defensive cuz I attacked one white guy on this car forum for objectifying asian girls... cuz he kept referring to his girlfriend like "I finally found me an asian girl. Ive been wanting an asian girl for so long. She's my asian girl. blah blah blah it was utterly ridiculous."
Im like dude... "why not refer to her like a person.... maybe her name... shit. You dont see anyone going around saying I been wanting a black sista so long. or I want some of that mexican spice."
and then one of the mods who happens to have an asian girlfriend and is white called me racist and de-moderated me and banned me.
