Well the time has finally come. I will be seeing the movie tonight at 10pm. I will post a review tomorrow. I guess everyone can post what they think about the movie here after they see it.

Before you watch the movie, try to watch Final Flight of Osiris, and Animatrix. They both tie into the movie. I think Animatrix is on www.whatisthematrix.com Final Flight.. I have no idea. I guess you'd have to download it off something.

i just got back from watching the matrix and it was amazing. the fight scenes were great, there were some yellow faces in the cast, and as an added bonus for some of you, there was way more skin than the first one. if you haven't bought advanced tix yet, why not?

Omg. I can't wait to see this movie. I think I'll wait for the lines to settle down though.

I plan to take my sister, who just turned 13, to see this movie. But if there is a lot of overt sexual references or an explicit sex scene I probably won't... So does it? I can't imagine the Wachowskis sticking a sex scene in the Matrix, I mean I know they did Bound but that doesn't really seem like their taste in movies.

there is a sex scene and nudity during a 5 min part. it's not that bad but it did cause the movie to get a R rating i think

loved the movie. however, the ending left me with some questions. does anyone like to discuss their theories?

There is a sex scene, in the Wachowskian tradition (cinematograpgy reminded me of the one in Bound, though simpler, more about framing), totally pointless and put in there to get the R. There are wet t-shirts during a... rave scene, extremely brief nipples visible through shirts, and Keanu's asscrack. Not that explicit, mostly facial expressions (which, on Keanu's part, involves minimal facial muscle movement), although Keanu is inbetween Moss' legs for a shot or two.

Capsule review: The movie delivered the same level of action (updated to our higher level of expectation) as the first one, dialogue is still cringe-inducing but not quite so unintentionally funny, plot is somewhat interesting, although the pacing is a little off and it drags at some points, and the ending (if you can call it that) is really weak.

Yeah, but I'd like not to spoil anything for those that haven't seen it yet. Maybe create a separate thread for it, and later merge it?

i don't know if you can call the ending weak. all it really did was setup the plot for the 3rd movie. the whole ending sequence did explain everything though. usually i like movies that don't really have an ending. that way you can come up with your own take on what happens.

i thought carrie ann moss was way cool,
love the patent leather/pvc catsuit, plus
she was a chick on mortorbike who also
sucks dick too. what's not too like.

the fighting scene between neo and agent
smith after he met up with the oracle was
too drawn out, i was bored after 5 minutes
of it.

my favourite part of the movie was the frenchie
guy, "i love swearing in french, it's like wiping
my ass with silk".

me likey.

the end confused me? i went to the first premeir
in thailand, so i though like, oh they cut the film short
or something.

i dunno. oh well.

oh the sex scene didn't turn me on
at all. i kept on focusing on those
little knodes. ick. and keanu had a
whole strip of them down his back.

made me think of those nasty ass
anime porn with aliens n' shit. ick ick ick.

Thumbs up

there was a separate thread for those who've watched the movie on rbj and somebody else suggested it on the other thread here. so, use this thread to discuss the movie so you don't ruin it for others. :)
