this only goes to show you how jewish people are the true victims.

christians i.e. catholics and mel gibson belive that the jews killed jesus. the muslim radicals ;) want to kill the jewish people. germany and the nazis massacred the jewish people in a mass genocide.

i only have sympathy for the jewish people and their cause. they are the only true victims in this tug of war.

He actually called it the "Vatican"? He usually calls it the "Whore of Babylon."

I used to get those cartoons a lot. Usually the people handing them out were crazy ex-drug addicts or they were a bunch of white country kids who came into town on a bus for missionary work.
Jack Chick seems to think that there's an anti-Christian conspiracy and the Catholics, Freemasons, Jews, Muslims, Titanic, and dungeons & dragons are all behind it.

I just read that cartoon, SunWuKong. It was pretty disturbing. It seems like the Protestant Christians don't like the fact that the Vatican knows how to be diplomatic with non-Christians. The cartoon is blasting the Pope for forgiving his would-be assassin, a "Muslim" (though it is questionable how religious this guy was given his connections to the Bozkurt, a fascist-style terrorist group that targets religious groups).
Protestant missionaries are ignorant bafoons who can't stand it when Catholics outsmart them. They go all over the world and try to spread anti-Catholic propaganda. These people are nuts, their view of Catholicism is stuck in the 16th century.

well, most Protestant churches aren't exactly under any huge umbrella organisations, unless you're talking about the Southern Baptists or something. most Christian people i know (who are mostly in the northeastern part of the US) aren't so crazy. all i can say is that people like Jack Chick, Pat Roberts, and that "Prayer Warrior" lady on Trading Spouses give Protestants a bad name.

It is one of the ironies of Chick's tracts that their biggest fans are exactly the people Chick thinks are going to hell.

My favorite tracts are the Fall of Sodom and Dark Dungeons. The way Chick draws the men of Sodom is hillarious.
