At dimsum today I shared a table with a young Japanese family. Mom, Dad, and two sons. I felt like saying to them: "Japanese people! I've heard so much about you!"

The Mom and Dad spoke English with an accent, and one of the kids was reading a Japanese kids' magazine, so they're probably not a Japanese American family that's been in the US for generations. Maybe expats or tourists? Although I think tourists would just go to Chinatown instead of going all the way to...
