"Beyond Black and White: How Asian Americans Are Revolutionizing Our Nation's Racial Dialogue"
The Asian Pacific/Islander Caucus of DRUMM (Diverse & Revolutionary Unitarian Universalist Multicultural Ministries) present a lecture by Howard University law professor, journalist and author, Frank Wu who shares insights from his book, Yellow: Race in America Beyond Black and White, which combines a comprehensive history of Asian American civil rights movements with contemporary racial justice issues such as affirmative action, immigration, and racial profiling. Free/Open to public.

I remember him. I still can't believe I stayed up til 2:00 to see him in Booknotes on C-Span. I wonder what he thinks of his school Howard University, which is 86% black, on diversity.

Well, Howard University is a historically Black college.
It sounds like a great lecture, but it's on FRIDAY!!

he's got to come out on the west coast, i'm really interested in seeing him too. i want to see him lecture at ucla, especially after the uc system repealing affirmative action.

having already been to the talk, if you've already read his book... the talk is kinda redundant.
well, maybe i should've expected it, since i think the whole point of his talk to was describe his book, hehe. He did give another lecture when he wsa here that weekend, but i wasn't able to catch it.
