My history with legos and tinkertoys is a bit traumatizing (especially them newer legos with those stupid ass electric or hi-tech junk). I wasn't very good with reading or following the directions/instructions in the books when building shit so I just went by the pictures. In the end, my vehicle or masterpiece turned out let's say a bit more ghetto than intended (i.e. perhaps one of the wheels looks different from the rest) or somehow my machine will hafta pass off as solar-powered rather than having an actual engine.

Even worse is when the thing falls apart or crumbles right before I am about to complete it. That was what pissed me off the most. Also, somehow some of my tinkertoy pieces (especially those white pieces with four sticks or knobs) would somehow randomly or mysteriously lose edges or protrusions so obviously they weren't quite as effective anymore.

Real toys come bulletproof and assembled.

Here's how my Lego experiences went

1) i would build a badass robot or animal or someshit
2) i would show my mom n dad ; indiffernce (assholes)
3) i would put it somewhere to look nice
4) my brother would throw it at my head (lil bitch)
5) i'd start over YAY!!!!
