i answered "chinese" for question two on what's the largest asian ethnic group, and i got that wrong, because the correct answer is "chinese americans". hahahahh!

hahahaha, yeah I did the same thing. I tried again and it also complains about "Chinese-Americans" with the horrid hyphen in there which indicates Chinese as an adjective modifying Americans instead of the first portion of a compound noun, or whatever bullshit people give to justify their argument that putting a hyphen into Chinese American is offensive. (I actually saw this in my school newspaper once).
Okay actually I think they just suck at javascript and designing user interfaces, and didn't understand that not everyone thinks and punctuates like them.
Got 4/11 ... nailed all the questions about statistics (except "Chinese Americans" as noted above) and had no damn clue about all the questions on "Asian Americans in the government" or the one about native Hawaiians. Cuz to be honest I don't give a fuck about either of them. Oh yeah and what the hell did that have to do with Asian pop culture? Unless they think our politicians are pop stars who deserve to be greeted by crowds of undulating young girls screaming their names ... which would explain a lot, actually ...

You Scored 2 out of 11
This gives you a grade of F. Sorry, you have failed!
Question 1 - Correct.
Question 2 - Incorrect. Actual Answer was: Chinese Americans. A total of 2.7 million people reported they were Chinese alone or in combination with one or more other races or Asian groups in Census 2000, making Chinese the leading Asian group; Filipino (2.4 million) and Asian Indian (1.9 million) followed.
Question 3 - Incorrect. Actual Answer was: 874,400. 874,400 U.S. residents reported themselves as Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander alone or in combination with one or more other races in Census 2000. This group made up 0.3 percent of the total population.
Question 4 - Correct.
Question 5 - Incorrect. Actual Answer was: Filipinos. Second only to Mexican Americans, Filipino Americans are currently the second largest group of immigrants to the United States.
Question 6 - Incorrect. Actual Answer was: 44%. 44% - The percentage of Asians and Pacific Islanders age 25 and over with a bachelor's degree or higher in 2000. The corresponding rate for all adults 25 and over was 26 percent.
Question 7 - Incorrect. Actual Answer was: True. Asian and Pacific Islander-owned firms generated more than half (52 percent) of all minority-owned business revenues. Minority-owned businesses are those owned by African Americans, Hispanics, Asians and Pacific Islanders, or American Indians and Alaska N
Question 8 - Incorrect. Actual Answer was: Mazie Hirono. As the highest-ranking Asian Pacific American female elected official, Hawaii Lieutenant Governor Mazie K. Hirono, has spent over 20 years in public service.
Question 9 - Incorrect. Actual Answer was: Rep. Anna Eshoo. Rep. Anna Eshoo is NOT Asian Pacific American. She represents the 14th Congressional District of California. Rep. Robert Underwood is Chamorro (Guam), Rep. Robert Matsui is Japanese American and Rep. Bobby Scott is Filipino American.
Question 10 - Incorrect. Actual Answer was: 33. That's right! Since 1903, there have been 33 Members of Congress of Asian and Pacific Islander descent.
Question 11 - Incorrect. Actual Answer was: George Herbet Walker Bush. Oct. 23, 1992 - President George Herbert Walker Bush signed legislation into law to designate May of each year as Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. The law (HR 5572), introduced by Rep. Frank Horton (R-NY) and Norman Mineta (D-CA) was approved unanim

Actually, I should've scored 3/11, I typed in "Chinese" for the second question (as opposed to the correct answer, "Chinese-Americans"). I thought the fact that they were Americans was a given, considering the question that they asked.
The queston about which of the 4 Congressmen/ Congresswomen listed were asian or not was tricky. I tried to rule out any name that sounded asian, maybe some of them are hapa? Obviously Matsui was asian, but the other couple of guys were Underwood and Scott, names that don't sound asian to me (but according to them, they're Charmorro and Filipino-Americans, respectively) Eshoo kinda sounded like it was maybe Hawaiian or something, I don't know. ;)

I got 2 and Failed, althought I was gyped by Chinese on question 2, same as you guys.
I also missed "Mineta" for question 4. Mineta is not the same as Norman Mineta? Are they kidding me?
Question 8 asks for the highest ranking female public official in the U.S. Not the highest ranking Asian female. I'm sure that the House minority leader outranks a mere lieutenant governor.
Bobby Scott is either 1/2 or 1/4 Filipino and the rest black. I'm not sure if any mainstream media outlet has ever described him as anything other than black before.
If 7 is a C, what the hell would it take to get an A?

Ouch, I only got 6/11. if my boss knew.
errr, gonna bitch about this and spoil the test....
but this test is so picky. check this out, I answered "Chinese," and I get:
**Incorrect.
Or THIS... I answer "Norm Mineta" and they go:
**Incorrect. Actual Answer was: Norman Mineta. Norman Y. Mineta was first appointed by President Bill Clinton as U.S. Secretary of Commerce in 2000.
The designer of this quiz is either really anal or his computer software is retarded.
