so despite popular sentiment, do some of you secretly enjoy being around drama queens? just curious. and if no - if you hate drama queens - how do you deal with them. if possible, please provide your definition of a drama queen.

drama queen = someone who blows a situation out of proportion for the purpose of an emotional show and to illicit sympathy/pity/support. The more spectators the better.
At times, they're amusing, but after repeated displays they get tiresome, so really I don't care for them. The way I deal with them is to either play along condesendingly and enjoy the show, or to not play along, let them know that I know exactly what they're doing whilst mocking them.

I have a lotta drama queen friends....if they didn't have other qualities about them that were so awesome and/or irresistible that overshadowed this flaw (imo) then I probly wouldn't be their friend. :HH: Maybe yea I am just secretly (or not so secretly) masochistic.

Is the drama queen the same thing as an attention whore? If so, ick, forget about it.
i believe the main question to whether a guy would like a drama queen is if she was hot. cause guys can put up with all kinds of shit as long as you can put spices in her rack.

being a drama queen can make a girl a lot less attractive in my book
fuck, all the girls around my age have baggage or are emotionally high maintenance. what i wouldn't give for a girl that doesn't take herself too seriously.

I hate them. I never do the melodrama thing, nor all those stupid mind games and guessing games. >_< Not only do some chicks do it to guys, but they do it to their friends too. That's why when they start pulling their attention whore tricks, I don't give a shit and they have a fit and leave me alone.

The difference between drama queens and other women is that they willingly and shamelessly express their need for attention while the other women hold this urge in

so the alternative is women who keep on nagging you so that you break up with her.
i was good friends with this one drama queen in junior high, she was pretty hot, and popular too. yeah but i was dumb, and was afraid ppl would think i like her and taunt me, even though i think she sorta knew it anyways. but still having such a friend is still pretty entertaining cause they tell you all the stories and stuff they've been through. i dunno about you guys, but to me sitting with her at lunch time was like watching a tv show, i was always entertained.

Just had an arguement with my drama queen friend. She told me her problems; I didn't agree with her. She got pissed and started yelling. Good thing my cell phone battery ran out.
Having said that, I'd like a drama queen girlfriend, but not as a friend. I love drama in my relationship.

I don't know if I could go out with a drama queen. I'd like to think I'm pretty laid back and amiable, but I would like some attention from her and not have to be the contstant giver. Some excitement is good and it's nice to know that she's got some kind of investment in the relationship, but if I constantly have to maintain her emotional stability on my own, I think I'd just get tired and leave.
Watch me fall in love with the highest maintenance, most dramatic woman ever now.

drama queen... in bed or in public?
me.... after all the drama that has happened in my life, I don't think I could date a drama queen anymore... unless I'm desperate, and need to get laid.
Guys can be big drama queens, especially if they're the pouty kind. Straight guys are the worst, because they then try and act like they don't care, but you know it's eating them up inside. Of course, then they lay out all out on the table and start yelling....how melodramatic is that?

YES! thank you for saying that. i had this one bf who would never tell me when he was jealous but would do little sneaky things to hurt me instead. he was a manly man, too, so nobody would've guessed...it took me a good amount of time for me to discover the pattern.

So, no to drama kings - guys are supposed to be the more mature, level-headed, forgiving ones in the relationships no?

no girl ever, in my experience doesn't notice the change in words. They tend to notice, and give me more hell. Usually I end up having to do something for her to make my sorry ass stop being harassed by whatever drama queen.

Dramaqueens, hot ones at least, instill the urge for me to have rough sex with them in order to quiet their banter. They are quite mesmerizing and animated, amusing, a cheap high kinda like sniffing glue or walgreens brand whiteout.
