Has anyone been to previous editions of this event?
How is it?
I might have a chance to catch it.
It would be cool (for me at least) to see the Thrillseekers

i've been to all the popsicles before hand! :D
generally, the parties are pretty good, but a majority of the audience are there because it's the thing to do. eh. what're you gonna do? they've switched venues this time because at the last party, i think someone jumped/fell off the balcony. another venue ruined by people that can't control themselves. the concourse is a pretty big area, but it's all carpeted, so you may have a bit of trouble dancing. and after about 1/130 or so, the ceiling starts dripping. yeah.

Why not try the link above to order online?
Do tix sell out way in advance? There's still 3+ weeks left.
Also during that weekend, if my friend's wedding on that Sunday doesn't go too late, I hope to catch Armin van Buuren and co. at 1015!

Hey Pat, if you're gonna go, go to F8 on the Haight, and buy tickets there. Usually they have a lot of tickets left over. If they're sold out, they say it on the bulletin board they have by the counter. At least the last time I was there.
Me... I wanna go to Popsicle, but I have no moola to spend to go. Otherwise I'd be there. Anybody wanna pay for me? :D

When do the feature acts usually go on?
I might have some other stuff going on that night, but I can at least catch the main sets (in this case, Thrillseekers and Agnelli & Nelson), that would be great

i'm thinking they come on prob around 11/12 or so? it all depends. parties around here advertise that they have big name djs coming around, but sometimes they'll come on at like 7 or so. like w/planet new year's and PVD. and one of the events thrown by this production company advertised the warp bros, but they didn't come through. i'm not sure if it was because of illness or not.

It's strange that the Thrillseekers didn't play on the largest floor, so I was on the wrong floor and totally missed out on them/him before I had to leave.
The price of food was a bit steep - $13 for a burger, knish (or whatever it's called), and soda.
But other than that, it was a good time.
If you went, how was it for you?

i thought it was a decent party at best. what i didn't like was that toward the middle/back of the main room you could hear the music bleeding in from the other room. sorta screwed it up. i ended up leaving at 1230 because my ride got bored/tired, so i ended up missing most of the headliners! :pissed: i really wanted to see agnelli and nelson... oh well. what made it a gooood party was that i got to meetup w/a lot of folks from the other website (http://www.glowsticking.com) i post on. that was nice.
never buy food from the vendors at raves over here! you get jacked everytime! you should just eat a little before and then hit up the jack in the box/carl's jr./denny's afterward! :D

If you were in the right room (unlike me), you could've been able to catch Thrillseekers and Art of Trance
Or a live PA by Steve Baltes on the Cyber Trance floor (which I guess was the main stage).
Agnelli & Nelson went on (on the Euro Trance floor) 12:45-2 am.
I did try finding food before going in, but with no luck in that area. I parked for free (though probably illegally) at the venue, and then walked around. There were some Chinese restaurants nearby but they were closed.
I saw lots of homeless around there. I also saw what looked like a seedy Chinese massage place, but didn't go in.
I also lost time trying to find Spundae Rekords, which I thought I heard on radio as being on "Eighth Street" but later found out was on "Haight Street".
I went to Denny's, but at 2 am, with friends that I met up with at Club Bas. Had a Loco Moco there.

was the "right room" the one if you're facing the entrance doors, all the way to the back and right? i think i caught art of trance... but i'm not sure.

The room with access to the outdoor area with all the booths?
I think that's the one.
