i'm in need of a new car. the insight was a nice experiment, but sucks ass. i'm trying to negotiate with corporate to give me a garantee for a trade in. hopefully i'll get 12500. looking at the civic hx. anyone have an hx. do you like it.

anyone have problems with honda? i've not had one good experience with the service department. recently i took my insight in 5 times in the last two weeks but still have a broken down piece of junk. also i've had trouble with them making good on warranties.

i've got an accord.. and haven't any problems. I took my car in twice to get something fixed during its warranty (CV boot, and AC) and both times they didn't charge me anything.

Myabe your having trouble w/ you car because the insight is a newer type of car (hybrid, right?) They probably haven't worked out all the kinks the car yet..

i'm sure if you ask any other honda owner, you'll get more positive responses than not. Honda is built on a reputation of reliability. (haha.. I sound like a salesman)

before the insight i had an accord. hand me down from the mom to the sister to me. 18 years in the family. finally from the age, the parts were too exspensive to purchase so i got rid of it. almost a clasic. should have shelled out the 3k for the last repair and kept the car. 88k miles, 18 years old, and no rust, despite the indiana pennsylvania life.
