We are pleased to announce that Even Balance, Inc. is working on integrating PunkBuster into Soldier of Fortune® II: Double Helix © by Activision and Raven Software. We will release more details here as they become available. Any PB supporters who have specific knowledge of where to download hacks and cheats for multiplayer SOF2 should send information to research@evenbalance.com.
Also Sierra and Valve the publishers and developers of half life and thus effecting its various mods like COUNTER STRIKE and DAY OF DEFEAT. Has implemented a very aggressive anti cheating upgrade path.
Vivendi Intereactive/ Blizzard has also done this. By taking the keys of cheaters on battlenet and forever shoving them into a cheaters only servers.
So who cheats and who hates cheaters.

The only online game I've ever played was Counterstrike. While I'd often like to think everyone around me was cheating, I think the more reasonable interpretation is that I just sucked at the game.=)
Actually, I've seen some cheaters. They were pretty annoying.

I hate cheating. If I'm going to spend $$ on a game I want to get my money's worth. Gotta feel like I'm earning all those fake electronic skills and items.

But there are a couple of games that, I think, you almost have to know what some of the cheats are or you'll never finish, or at least the game won't nearly be as fun! FFX, for example.

Take Silent Hill for example. There's no friggen way you can pass that game with the plus or whatever rating without the cheat!

Have you played GTA3 with any of the "cheats" enabled? I like using the codes where all pedestrians hate you and all pedestrians are armed. Rioting in the streets... Fun shit.

Okay, I can see how that game would be fun. But I think I'll wait for GTA4. Saw some previews online the other day.

On-line? I'm not sure. I think people just run hacks and shit or use codes. I've never done it.

Har har har! Gore mode you can burst heads, shoot off limbs, use a rocket launcher and you'll see body parts a'flyin! Try it with the sniper rifle. Fun shit.
