For the first time in a very long while, my hometown is experiencing a very white Christmas...15 inches. And I'm in Hong Kong, land of perpetual sunshine, make that smog. I wish I were home playing in the snow, making snowmen, going sledding, being with family, and having that Christmas Eve dinner. :(

Are any of you going to have a white Christmas this year?

The forecast said 70% chance of 1 inch overnight but thankfully it's changed to clear. Tomorrow is supposed to be a mix of sleet and snow... so it's not really going to be the nice fluffy white but the mushy slushy white. I hope everyone stays safe especially with the snowstorms headed to New England.

Feel better? I scrapped all the frost off my freezer to make one big snowball. You have the distinct honor of being hit with it! Enjoy!

I drove through the snow passing through DC today. Then it turned to rain, so instead of a white CHristmas, we have a wet Christmas down here.

NYC (http://www.nytimes.com/2002/12/26/nyregion/26SNOW.html) had the most Christmas snow since 1909 with 3 inches in Central Park. I missed out on that too and traded it in for rain. :pissed:

yep, here in the east coast we got the white stuff. It snowed 1:00 in the morning when I had to pull my car onto the driveway so the plow can do its job. Then rained, then sleeted, and snow again at night. only a few inches unlike a foot in upstate NY.

Shovelled, and it's melting... hopefully it won't ice over overnight. One of the few fluffy snows on Christmas Day in recent memory. Had fun digging my car out this morning. Can't wait for sun already.

We got slammed here in Westchester NY. Cars piled up on exit ramps and on the sides of the roads. Accidents all over the place. It was a mess. I'm so happy I have 4 wheel drive. Now where is that "SUV's suck" thread?
