Disney has Miley Cyrus, Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens, Hilary Duf, and the rest of the Disney Mouseketeers pretending to be as wholesome as the Jonas Brothers.
But as we know with the Simpson girls (no not Homer Simpson's daughters!), their sexiness could be due to Freudian slips by the parents if they are managers.
I'm sure Radio Disney content is kid safe up until puberty of the viewing audience.
However, I am also sure that children with healthy attitudes towards love and all things wholesome would still grow up with a crush on Miley cos of the scandalous photo shoot with her dad or on Ashley Tisdale for being white bread etc.
As well, the reality TV on the Jonas Brothers quickly popped the bubble of wholesomeness when one realizes even God-fearing people aren't perfect.
Overall, we are human for buying into the youth culture myth, at the cost of a dearth of positive portrayals of the elderly in youth-oriented shows such as Radio Disney, Hannah Montana, etc etc etc
