Steam Drying Machines?

My drying machine needs to be replaced and I was wondering if anybody had any comments on these new steam drying machines I see at the appliance places? I often dry most of the clothes, but times like now when it's been raining for several days (at least over here) it's not too practical. Also, some things like sheets, towels, etc. I always like to dry. So, how are the results of these steam dryers? Any issues, like too much moisture (don't want to encourage mold, mildew, fungus, etc.) ...

From what I've searched you could probably manipulate the steam used from everyday things to your advantage if you had the desire and the know how.
