Kinda disappointed hearing this. I had a bit of high hopes on him and was expecting him to be the first Asian superstar on the college basketball level.
Ironically, I thought it would be him -- and not Harvard's Jeremy Lin -- who would be getting all the attention for being an Asian playing college basketball.
Kinda funny too that this guy's been struggling in his academics. Then again, I recall that one of the very first Chinese basketball players to play college hoops (Jian Ma, I think?) had academic issues. He wanted to go to UCLA real bad, but was denied admission b/c of academic issues and ended up going to I think, University of Utah?
Model minority he is not, oh well.
