Some of these Kazakhs look like the Ainumushiri side of my Japanese ancestry.

Also, besides the general population looking like that, there is a huge Korean community in Kazakhstan that were moved there from the Russian Far East by Stalin because he feared that they would be loyal to Japan.

Coincidentally last week i was standing in line next to a whole bunch of Kazakhs on vacation. The parents/elderly looked almost-but-not-quite-white, while the kids were clearly Asian. I could trot out the tired old cliche and say they looked hapa, but hapas can look like almost anything, while these kids generally looked like they were all members of the same ethnic group.

But even if I hadn't heard them speaking Russian or seen their clothes, there's no way I would have mistaken them for a Japanese or Korean group. (Maybe I'd have mistaken some of the girls individually for other nationalities if I was staring at her body instead of her face.) I doubt I could tell Kazakhs from Buryats or Yakuts though ... only reason I could figure out this group were Kazakhs (aside from asking them, of course) was cuz I heard them calling each other by name.

Central Asia and Xinjiang is surprising....altough ethnically they're suppose to be more Turkish than Asian, I find if anything, half the freggin country looks more mixed than anything.

Their leaders look clearly mixed, heck even Russian Boris Yeltsin looks mixed, clearly not 100% Caucasian.

Naw. She's not that pretty at all either in my opinion. Plus again, she looks like jailbait. How old is she? 16? That's two strikes right there.

Edit: Make that three strikes because she looks like she didn't even finish JHS yet. I just don't see what's so fascinating about this girl at all.
