Hey dude, Welcome.
Checked out that site you was talking about. That last post was in 2006? Wow. What happened man? All I am seeing on the main page now are banners to mail order bride sites and Asian plastic surgery clinics. Not to diss, but damn.
There was another APA site a friend showed me that was good at one point around 2000 or something like that but now it turned to total shit as of late. Just keep on looking at the pages. You'll be shocked at what the dudes there talk about.
Here's the link for laughs. These dudes who post there are like really, REALLY OUT THERE. Asian version of stormfront.

Just keep scrolling the pages if you dare.

One day without warning I found out
that google.com groups account
had been banned for no apparent reason.
I decide it was a sign to take a break
from SCAA. There are times I miss
Waterbabe, Sperry, and Mooshu guy
but I was never one of the flamewarriors.
Some asian american issues still remain
like - asian roles/depictions in mainstream
media. Other goals like asian americans
in presidential cabinet positions has been
achieve.
SCAA is now the target of a
type of automated massive postings
campaigns by what appears to be
from a canadian based Falun Gong
advocate (however it is a possiblity
this is only a cover for another entity
which may also harbor anti-CCP/Chinese
sentiments). Request by drydem to google.com
to remove the robotic postings from SCAA
were ignored - and it may have been the
reason why my account was banned.

I was having this same problem until today. I thought that was the issue, then I found this post - sure enough it works now.

Crap,..I think my message got deleted by pressing a wrong key.
Anyway, just wanted to welcome you back to the living. I'm a something-other generation hapa that joined yellowworld a few weeks ago. This seems like a good forum. Good and caring people mostly.
Forums are nice, but I sure miss the real vs. "virtual" communities.
Best wishes,
SAM
