Man, and another one bites the dust. I lost a lot of respect for Grace Park. She was married to a good asian guy and I really hope she doesnt "go white" on us asian guys.:mad:
I have always had a celeb crush on her ever since watching Battlestar Galactica and it made me feel good that a GORGEOUS American asian women was tied down to a regular joe asian guy.
It kinda brought up mad memories of my break up with my ex girlfriend. She was a beautiful asian girl and we dated for 2 years until she "upgraded" to some white meathead that looked like he was straight out of an Abercrombie catalog.

Lets forget what the celebrity is doing, they don't deserve our attention.
But otherwise alot of us went through this. That's why we date interracially too now, myself included. I can relate, but try not to let it embitter you, you never know, you might find another Asian hottie of your dreams. Not all of them are sellouts. I think the majority of them around the country are actually not, nowadays and will give a non-white dude -- particularly an Asian stud the time of day.

Seriously tho, Linda has shown off more of her body. All we know about Grace's character is that there are more than one copy of her, and they are programmed to have offspring with humans and to fall in love with men below her class.

Her husband is a businessman so I can sympathize with her. You're not marrying a real man; you're marrying someone who knows how to sell himself. And obviously there has to have been a lot of family pressure to marry a provider.
I guess someone in their families considered her acting career to be second to her role as mother and second-in-command.

Just to throw this into the ring (since things will mostly likely get ugly here), there was an ad for an online dating website (the ones where they show the couples laughing and it shows their names and the "dating since/together since" text in white) and it actually had an AM and a WF. Color me shocked a bit.

How do you know her soon to be former hubby (if true) is a "regular joe" Asian guy (I also wouldn't put GP into the gorgeous category - she has a very nice body, but her face, while attractive, isn't in the gorgeous category).
If the divorce rumors are true - I'm hardly surprised since marriages tend to fall apart when one person gains celebrity.
Nonetheless, Park did state in an interview that, while growing up, never thought she would marry a Korean/Asian guy.
The same thing applied to Ming Na - whose first husband was a white guy.
She then "saw the light" and is now married to an Asian guy (btw, "seeing the light" doesn't mean she had to marry an AM, just see them as a viable option) and is also one of the biggest activist for improving the portrayal of AMs in the media.

OK. Yeah, I never saw enough Korean shows and movies to be able to directly answer that question.
Well with me, that's not exactly a criteria for what I find attractive in a woman or female celebs in this case. To me it does'nt matter as long as the girl is pretty. There are lots of Asians in general who don't even have . . . how should I say it in a appropriate way? . . . folded eyelids at all, who I still find very pretty in the case of an Asian lady, or enviously handsome, in the case of an Asian man. :biggrin:
