My laptop messenger bag finally gave way. Looking for a new one. Preferably one with a water bottle holder (funny how this small thing can make life so much easier). Suggestions?

North Face Off Site just go pick it up at Paragon (lowest price I've found when I was shopping for one).

I bought a LT bag at the official Manhattan Portage store in downtown Manhattan three years ago for a 15 inch LT. I still have it. Good as new.

Thanks! Never even considered Manhattan Portage. I still have my MP school bag from 13 years ago!

I can remember when Manhattan Portage messenger bags was really in style back in the 90's among the Asian dudes in High School. The Manhattan Portage bags recently made a big comeback as of late, I see people everywhere in the city with one.

It's all part of the metrosexual and/or emo fad sweeping the nation these days. I wouldn't be surprised if they were more in fashion a few years ago in Asia and Europe. I've noticed that whatever is trendy over there becomes trendy in America a few years down the line, one significant example being the Ug winter boot thingies for girls.

If you're willing to spend a few bucks, go with a Tumi. Mine's lasted me over 5 years now.

I use my Timbuk2 for all sorts of stuffs besides my laptop, but it works best for my laptop. =)
I also go a Brenthaven, like the ones they used to list on Apple.com, but I think they stopped selling them on the website. It screams computer bag. And it's not very fashionable, but what it doesn't have much in terms of form, it makes up in function. I had it for a while now, and used it for a regular book bag, besides laptop bag. Bonus: my bag was been dropped, kicked. sat on, and a buncha other stuff I wince at remembering, and my laptop is still tickin', along with its assorted parts, so I've got no complaints there.
