This is Alan Moores best work, I really enjoyed watchmen read it like circa 2003, I do remember a scene where the comedian knocked up some vietnamese woman and ended up killing her somewhere in a bar.

I doubt they'll put that one in since the comic is huge, but if they do I wonder how people will react.

they'll be like "no more boom boom for this girl!"

Snyder or whatever the director's name is said he'd pretty much maintain as much of the comic as possible and the trailer definitely had the Vietnam stuff

the only problem is I doubt that American audiences will buy the ending where Ozymandia absolutely had to massacre New York to stop the Cold War

hardly a quotable SPAAAAARRRRTTTTAAAAA moment but I make it sound like that's a bad thing

I wonder how the audience will buy that the "Patriotic" comedian is nothing but a rapist and psychopath.

Definitely a new spin from your typical Captain America.

That's interesting because Moore did something similar with Invisible Man. Rape and acting out sexually seems to be his bag, baby.

^---He looks like Rasputin

I worry audiences will treat it like another League of X gentlemen

The trailer I saw looked so cold. I can't wait to see it. Anyone know when it is due out?

Awesome trailer. I never read this graphic novel so I went to B&N yesterday looking for it. Too bad, I couldn't find it.

I know nothing about this story. Everything except that one guy's costume looked pretty cool.

Full trailer on now. I like it, as I just re-read the book...but Rorschach's voice...shades of Bale's Batman.
