I just wanted to know if anyone is out there that is involved with Filipino American activism.

Personally, I'm real jaded about the national level Fil Am politics. Also, maybe it's because I have no avenues on finding out what's happening on that front. I think the Fil Am community (at least where I'm from in FL) is too complacent and really don't see a need to be involved with any community affairs. If anyone is out there that can prove me wrong, I'd love to hear it. I know a lot of folks in Cali and NYC are doing great, inspiring local organizing work, but in the context of domestic national leadership, who is out there? I'd love to meet ya.

All i know is that our campaign for Full Equity for our Veterans is still on.

Peace & Justice, L.

In texas Fil-Am's are apathetic or jaded as hell when it comes to actual political activism.

and I was involved heavily in FSA (Filipino student association) and PST (Phil students of texas, governing body of FSA's in the state)

so I have a fairly good sample group.
